    Uniden UH850S worth the money

    This is one of the more expensive radios on the market but comes with a load of features and accessories and seems to be very solidly built. Many different settings through the menu, but simple to use. Easy and clear reception. Auto squelch saves a lot of fiddling around.

    Uniden when communication matters

    Uniden product is well made, high quality & most importantly reliable when it matters... I have run Uniden 40 channel in my Prado for 10+ years & has proven itself on more than one occasion hence the decision to run with UH850S was simple, especially when you are out in the back country... You want be disappointed to hear "copy that"

    Uniden 850s with car kit and antenna

    This works well when I am on the road or off road and i can take it with me when I go hiking. It makes life easier and safer in a way because once you out of the city limit there is no phone signal and the only way to communicate is by radio. It is easy to install also the lithium ion battery last pretty long.

    Better as a handheld than fixed in the car.

    Brought as a radio for the car that I can also use outside. Aerials are great and signal is fine. Speaker/mic is a little quiet for an in car application, but there is no means to add to external speaker.
