    Do it yourself, Don't send you're GPS to HEMA. Check out the pictures in this review so you too can save all the information on a HEMA GPS. Its the second time I had battery issues with my HEMA HX1, last time I sent it back to Hema and Hema lost all the saved maps and information on the unit, Hema then charged me extra to put new maps on. I saved $250 doing it myself. Thanks Guys.

    Thank you, Just pulled the old battery out of my Hema HX-1 and did a temporary connect and fit with the new battery to test run. Powered up straight away, acquired satellites and performed the way it should, very happy and saved me a lot of money by fixing it myself. Battery is slightly wider than original but still fits nicely in the battery recess. Regards Rosco
