About this product

Product Information

Michael Long (David Hasselhoff) is a policeman, while investigating someone, he was shot and left for dead. But a millionaire, Wilton Knight finds him and saves him and gives him a new face. It seems that Knight wants to wage a war against criminals who operate above the law. And Michael is the man he has chosen to wage that war. He has created the ultimate car, the Knight Industries Two Thousand or KITT, which is laced with a virtually indestructible alloy, and is also capable of moving on its own and also talks. He gives the car to Michael, and gives him the new identity of Michael Knight.The full first season of this classic show, all 21 episodes, is now available on DVD for fans to collect. Also includes the 1991 TV movie Knight Rider 2000.

    A good way to get episodes if you like the show

    Knight Rider is a blast from the past. If you know it from then, and you liked it, this is an easy way to get a heap of episodes. The video quality isn't as good as more modern stuff, but I find that doesn't bother me (and there aren't any frame jumps, drop-outs or similar problems in the ones I have watched). It's a form of science fiction that doesn't go off the planet, or way into the future or past. I find the characters engaging, particularly the car, KITT (stands for Knight Industries Two Thousand). He's the SciFi part of the series. The rest is solving crimes and defeating bad guys. KITT's driver, Michael Knight, is played by David Hasselhoff, and the banter between them can be quite funny at times. Wikipedia says that there were 4 Knight Rider series: Knight Rider (1982–1986), ...
