Weather station is made for Northern Hemisphere but says you can re-calibrate to southern hemisphere in doing this it fixes the north south but then the East / West directions are wrong. Result is you need to leave it as Northern Hemisphere settings and have the solar panel facing south which will not give you incorrect Light value readings. Would not recommend this Wx station for southern Hemisphere.
