    The item arrived damaged. The seller felt it not his responsibility to ensure the item was properly packaged. I was able to straighten the metal lever part and went ahead and installed the unit. It seems to be functioning OK, but as my wife is sometimes having to turn this unit off I am preferring it to have the proper Red Control Knob. The seller disagrees the damage is due to improper packaging and wants to charge me for a new part.

    The item was shipped via UPS in the same packaging and fashion as it was received from the manufacture. The customer did not note any shipping damage with UPS when they received it. If it was damaged during shipping, a claim should have been filed.
