    Good HiFi tweak

    I used this to deaden cabinet resonances in the separate components of my HiFi chain - streamer/DAC, preamp, power amp. I applied it internally so you need to unplug the power and take the component cover off and then apply it judiciously to bare metal sections of the cover making sure it will not interfere with any electrical components or cause the component to overheat. It is easy to cut with scissors into whatever size piece you need. You need to ensure the cover can be refitted without snagging anything. You also need to be aware that fitting mods like this will void your warranty... The post fit “knuckle” test on the top and sides of the component definitely indicates less cabinet resonance, which is always good.
