Notes
The jazz event release of 2007! Eagerly anticipated by Rick and Richard's legion of fans, RNR will thrill and delight one and all. Truly a musical meeting years in the making and well worth the wait. Tunes like the title track "RnR", the raucous horn charts of "Curve Ball", and an exotic little burner "The Stranger" flowed from their collective musical wit and wisdom. From "Que Paso's" catchy handclaps, late night charmer "Two Heart Tango" and funkjam of "Q it Up" - this is simply an album that won't stop entertaining and amazing.

What can I say; it's not every day that you find the entire Shaw / Blades boys pick's all at the same time. They arrived promptly and packaged well. One pick included William Evankovich (Will E.) entire name signature. How cool and rare is that these days. Seller made me a sweet deal too. Thanks. Fan: STYX 77

  • RNR with rick braun and richard elliot

Best work that both of these guys have done in years. I remember Richard from his days with the TOWER OF POWER and he has never sounded better. This cd is not quite as lay back as some of his others and when you add braun to the mix, well---- it's nice. Well balanced and nice arrangements. A favorite of mine. If you are in fact a smooth jazz fan, this will make a nice addition to your collection. enjoy!

  • RnR Rick Braun and Richard Elliott

I have always enjoyed Rick Braun's work on an instrument that is so very difficult to master and Richard Elliott, since he has gone smooth. To have both perform as one, is a pleasure, not to mention the fellow artists these guys attach. I was completly taken to another jazz world from the first cut to last. Thanks RnR!

  • RnR by Rick Braun

I like it. I like Stranger, the rest of the tracks Palo, I am just going to revise this Review. The RnR is just the damn best CD that I listen to. I just didn't spend enough time enjoying the complex and beautiful arrangements these two did. I highly recomend this CD to anyone who likes great smooth Jazz. I am a perfectionist when it comes to Rick Braun and Richard Elliot. Steve
