    2007 Jodie Foster is An Avenger of Violent Crimes

    Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) works as a Radio Host & has a boyfriend, Dr. David Kirmani (Naveen Andrews). They live separately, but frequently walk his dog together in a neighborhood park. When the dog is captured in the park by three men who want money in return for the dog's release David refuses to submit to their demands. Erica becomes their next target for rape. While David struggles to stop them, he & Erica are brutally assaulted by 2 of the men. The 3rd twisted guy videotapes the crime! When Erica regains consciousness in a hospital, a few days after being attacked, she learns David's dead & his dog's missing.     Perhaps Too Much to Swallow

    Wow, what's the body count on this one? 9 I think. Well, if you , live in a plastic bubble in New York City (or anywhere else for that matter), hoping that nothing bad would ever happen to you, then I truly get this movie so that you can learn how to react after a traumatic event. There is something terribly wrong with the character Erica Bain (Jodie Foster) wondering "Why don't they stop me?" from my killing spree. But, why turn bitter over an incident and kill others yourself unless you wanted to turn into a paranoid schizophrenic psycho vigilante stalker killer female? The answer is, so we can all relive the terror ourselves in the comfort of our own homes. For some odd reason, a piece of hilarious trivia has circulated its way into the mainstream which goes like this: Release ...

    The Brave One

    I really enjoyed this movie it captures one attention from start to finish. I personally believe that Jodie Foster & Terrence Howard did a great job.I can see how loosing a loved one so Violently and unexpected could push someone over the edge. Jodie finds her self detached from the innocent every day life that so many of us experience. Once pushed up against the wall with no Justice she some how finds the courage to take matters into her own hands after being pushed so many times. Initially she did not want to hurt or kill anyone she just wanted justice to prevail. When that did not happen she took matters into her own hand by ridding the earth of the slime balls that prayed upon the innocents. This is a great movie to watch more than one time in my oppinion.     For the 2nd Time within 2 Weeks comes a major violent movie; in which a "Crime Victim turns Hunter" to 'Exact Revenge'. Kevin Bacon's 'Death Sentence' (SEE MY REVIEW), was the first one out of the gate; and 'The Brave One' is 'by no means' faultering 2nd out-of-the-gate.
