Sounds like static
At low volume they sound perfect and no issues. Mid-range is also okay but as the bass line starts to come into play the tweeters give out a cracking sound. I think it's due to not having bass blockers on the tweeters

Clear, cool quality sound for the price.
I bought these speakers because I replace my factory stereo & the factory speakers were not enough. These got a clear midrange sound and really cool high ones.The price was right ,compare to others,also the quality of sound.I still need to get a subwoofer for low sounds.The bass isn't that strong for what I want.Overall, they are great and I would recommend them to everyone.

This Item is not very clear as to Quanity as you purchase you'd think that you are buying a Pair of speakers,You don't go to the Department Store and BUY just "one" SOCK they sell them buy the PAIR. So when you buy speakers for your car you think your buying TWO when they actually sell you one!! Boss 5" x 7" Car Speaker
The speakers were of outstanding quality and were simple to install. I also liked that they are unique in design with a deep red color.
