    Watched it twice already. BBC historical dept at it best.

    No one does historical sagas better than the BBC. This warm slice of ye olde English village life has coming of age, romance, drama, comedy (watch out for the cat) and lavender skull duggery all rolled into one. Think the M rating was overzealous & gave false impression. I watched with mum who's very squeamish & she didn't blink once. We both loved it. Definitely for woman of all generations. The DVD played beautiful - perfect vision & sound & no hiccups. Don't forget to check your dvd area zone when ordering this or any other dvd on the internet
