Notes
Given the extraordinary amount of airplay HOTEL CALIFORNIA garnered in the mid-70's and early 80's, it comes as quite a surprise to hear how fresh this recording sounds on DCC's 24k gold disc version. Familiar tracks benefit from the enhanced soundstage and control room-clarity of this exceptional digital re-mastering, revealing something of the actual recording studio room sound on many tracks. Certified Multi-Platinum (16 times) by the RIAA. (3/01)

What can I say; it's not every day that you find the entire Shaw / Blades boys pick's all at the same time. They arrived promptly and packaged well. One pick included William Evankovich (Will E.) entire name signature. How cool and rare is that these days. Seller made me a sweet deal too. Thanks. Fan: STYX 77

Great Album by Don, Glenn, Joe, Timothy, and Don Felder. Love this album it don’t have a bad song on it. My favorite song on this album is the title track. It has nine tracks. It’s definitely worth the price buy this one. Buy all of the eagles albums you won’t be disappointed especially by this album.

  • MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIMES :-)

What esle can be said about the EAGLES other than they are the GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER!!!! This CD has so many EXCELLENT tracks that it is hard to speak about them all in this post.I will say that "Hotel California" has the GREATEST lyrics of most all songs I have ever heard and believe me when I say I have listened too and owned THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS ALBUMS,CASSETTES and CD's in my almost 52 years of living.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that EVERYONE not only purchase this CD but they they purchase EVERY CD put out by the EAGLES!!!!:-)

  • Hotel California by Eagles

I have been listening to this song for years. The music is great, especially the guitar solo that ends the first song of the entitled CD. I never paid a great deal of attention to the words until I received the CD. The are certainly related to those times. I especially liked the revers cover which how much time, talent, and combined effort was employed to produce this great CD. I Love It!!!

  • A Palatable Slice of 70s Album Rock

Having lived through the 70s, this album is somewhat a victim of its own success. I have heard all the songs a million times. Most of them hold up well, some of them don't. "Hotel California" with its triple guitar melodrama is instantly known by everyone. "New Kid In Town" harkens back to their country rock roots."Life In The Fast Lane" shows how Joe Walsh added a harder edge to their laid back style. Rolling Stone listed this as the #37 album, and it sold over 10 million copies. This was their breakout album that left their country roots in the dust. I like the first two albums the best, but who am I to argue. This is a classic record.

  • awesome cd

i love all the songs..play it in my car and roll the windows down and the top back play my air guitar and sing as loud as i can hahaha
