    Every Home Should Have This Book

    I enjoyed learning about all the research behind the Fast 800 Diet and there was a lot of scientific research undertaken around the world. Even though there is a lot of information the book is easy to read and flows well in logical order. I'm glad it included some recipes but I also purchased the Fast 800 Recipe book and have been working my way through the delicious meal options. Not only have the two books helped me to lose weight but they have taught me how to cook healthy meals and I'm now eating foods I normally wouldn't because the recipes make them tasty. Having the results from the extensive research undertaken by Michael Mosley gave me confidence that the Fast 800 would make me a much healthier person.

  • Great for all sports people

    I have been a member of a Masters Swimming club for over 30 years. I regularly enter competitions and do fairly well especially in short distance sprints. This book helped me to understand why I am good at short distance but my longer distance times are not what they used to be. It's all about breathing and I wish I had this information 20 years ago. I recommend this book to any sports person to improve their fitness and increase aerobic capacity and endurance. Some have complained there is too much info in this book but I found most of it interesting and you can skip anything not relevant.

  • Easy Read with Great Results!!

    This is a great book, informative to help you understand why you need to follow the process, but not bogged down in scientific jargon that makes for boring and confusing reading. The recipes are great, you don't have to buy in a heap of different pantry items and they are really filling. I have not felt hungry once. I am doing the Fast 800 Diet at the moment and I am really enjoying it, if you can 'enjoy' a diet that is. Highly recommend.

  • Excellent Book for Anyone, Including Those Who Do Not Need to Lose Weight

    I have read a library copy of this book before purchasing it. Although the content is geared towards weight loss, it is equally good for anyone who would appreciate up-to-date nutritional advises, written in plain English. MANY doctors and nutritionists continue to push out-dated and scientifically debunked nutritional principles (e.g. natural fat and eggs are bad for you, and sugar and starch are OK). While it is written by a doctor, this book gives you what has been proven by modern science and statistically validated against a large number of people in controlled trials. Although the Australian and New Zealand edition is a tad more expensive, the text is a size larger and therefore easier on the eye.
