    Ever reliable cigarette lighters since at least the early 1980's

    Always been a super reliable cigarette lighter for decades upon decades. For some years I went for the cheap Chinese made lighters but gave up on them after they all reduced the size of their flints to half-size, which often meant the flint finished or fell out before the gas finished. The Chinese lighters also tended to fall apart when carried within pants pocket. In comparison, BIC lighters use a much more efficient gas that makes them last 'at least' twice as long, if not 2.5 times longer; the lighting mechanism is also far superior, and it's rare the flint finishes before the gas finishes; 99% reliable all the time no matter what knocks they receive and don't fall apart; a sturdy and reliably lighting lighter.
