    Happy with the purchase. For something as cheaply built as this dock, it works very well. It's all plastic, so I wouldn't expect it to survive being bumped about and dropped. It works very well, heaps of connections...most importantly, (for me) it has the old IDE connection. Lots of these drives for me to copy data from. Seller is recommended. Thanks.

    Fast delivery (Australian stock); the IDE SATA DOCKING STATION read my Seagate IDE HDD and I was able to retrieve photos etc from the drive. However, it could not read my Western Digital IDE HDD; seems an issue with all of this style of docking station; Tom's Hardware gives a sensible explanation of why this is the case. When choosing this item, I hoped it would read WD drives, as there was no warning in the ad (other ads for similar docks warn about this). Works great otherwise.
