    Good value

    Good for the price and it dug holes well. If reaches rock or shale will bend the lead cantilever blade. Also does not come with grease so must grease it first even though not tell you. If use for a long time and use incorrect grease still works well but grease gets pushed out of shaft seal and end up on cylinder making a lot of smoke. Must use type 3 grease. Slightly under powered for the 300mm dia post hole drill but still works but must clear out debris when gets full. Good for dry clay soil etc but wet not so good. I’d still recommend it as it continues to dig my post holes ok.

    head unit OK , rest is inadequate

    motor seems adequate but the extensions are well under- engineered , particularly in the male section of the joiners, the augers are inefficient and inadequate in design,- the clutch on this unit slips very easy even with a 250mm auger , hopeless with the 300mm unit

    great value.Solid and reliable(except for the pull start handle)

    it performs perfectly.starts every time.plenty of power.easy to handle.HOWEVER the pull start handle is made of plastic and is not fit for purpose .A stronger material is required.I improvised with a metal attachment which has been successful.
