The machine is slightly less robust than I could see in the pictures however it arrived on-time, is easily assembled and starts easily. It surprised me a bit that it could handle the task of turning old gardens over without much trouble and the two stroke engine is also a bit of a surprise from a torque perspective.

Gave the tiller a trial run on the weekend seems ok very light and easy to use my soils are very light red soils and it doesn't seem to struggle through it, might find clay type soils hard going .

    lightweight and powerful little motor

powerful garden cultivator that is perfect for the home gardener. Had to make a few adjustments and the instructions are woeful. Did the job I wanted it to and is in the shed ready for the next cultivating task. With the work I wanted to get done this little machine was cheaper to buy than hire one. I would recommend this product.

  • Top critical review

Product is ok but if you are not mechanically minded , you may have some issues.

It was hard to get started. The recoil pull start jammed but was able to fix it. The wiring was lose and the machine did not stop but I was able to fix it. The idle was so high it was rediculus but I was able to fix that too. The machine did a good job and was easy to handle. The quality is good for the price but the factory quality assurance is poor. You need to check everything before using it.

  • Tested

I tested this unit as soon as I got it and in loosely packed soil it was fantastic, in clay soil which is a lot heavier it did not work to well and when it hit tufts of grass with big roots it bounced all over the place. It has a good strong motor 88cc which was impressive. I replaced the pins and cotter pins with high tensile bolts and lock nuts which made it a lot stronger.

  • Great for the veggie garden

I have for the last 7 or so years used the Giantz 4 blade tiller and it has always been a great little machine. I have now upgraded to the 6 blade machine and WOW!! This is so easy to use, the design is better and the extra weight of this machine really eats into the soil with ease. I have a permanent back and leg injury and this machine really does make turning over the veggie garden so much easier.

  • brilliant piece of equipment for the home gardener

works like a charm after I fixed one of the sets of blades which was slightly at an angle to the shaft just need the welding adjusted as it jammed the blade into the drive mechanism once it was fixed it did exceptionally well, very hungry on fuel but all in all outstanding value for money as long as it lasts
