Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is a third-person action game and the second instalment in the Price of Persia series for Sony PlayStation 2. This video game allows players to control the flow of time and gain advantage in battle by stopping, slowing, and even reversing time. A dark power has overtaken the ancient kingdom of Persia and the player, in the role of the Prince, must navigate labyrinthine streets and the dark chambers of the palace to free his kingdom from evil. As the agile Prince, gamers can run, flip, and jump in, while using a variety of swords found along the way to fight off enemies and restore balance to Persia. This third-person action game features all of the levels from the original Prince of Persia game with the added benefit of a level retrofitted for 3-D play, introducing enhanced graphics and visual excitement and making Prince of Persia: Sands of Time a dynamic addition to this popular series.
