      Well built and works fine but?

      Well built for occasional use and for the price it is a must for those that need to lift awkward items, or items that are just too heavy to lift. I'm not sure I would like to lift 500 kgs as rated but it makes easy work of removing items from the roof of my truck like my boat loader. The only negative is that it moves quite fast so there is no way to lift something a little bit smoothly.

      Not happy as I have to use an old chain block to do the job.

      Will not lift my rooftop tent of my car ( 90 KG ) , it will lower it but will not raise it . I am a Boilermaker/Welder ,a tradesman, I have mounted it solid and level and it will only lower it. It works fine with only a few KGs on it or with nothing at all, plus the control lead is far too short ,it should be twice as long.

      accurate

      used to use a half tonne mechanical hoist which constantly jammed and disrupted work efficiency, this one is smooth and strong. lifting is now done quietly and with accuracy and no disruptions.

      Great value

      The remote cord is far too short. If you are lifting with no weight on it the cable jumps off the spool and jams in a stupid gap between the spool and motor. Other than this it lifts really well and appears to be strongly made.
