    Good value, could be better

    Overall I'm happy with the purchase, however there are a couple of things I am wary of 1) The unit gets quite hot after pumping up a single tire. It may be fine, but could be an issue down the road; for now I'm not too worried about it. 2) The plastic hose supplied with the compressor seems really cheap and feels quite hard. I'm basically expecting it to crack and leak down the road if I look at it the wrong way. It looks like the quick connector used will work with hoses from other brand compressors, so it should be straightforward to replace it in the future if necessary. I may be being overly cautious about this, but chances are if it breaks it won't be breaking in a convenient location and so I was hoping for something that feels a bit more well made.     Good for the price

    Works well but does get very hot quickly. It hasn't tripped out due to heat yet but it does get so hot that you don't want to put it back in the bag. Its all well and good to say that you should leave it 15-30 mins but you don't always want to wait that long before storing it. The air hose is very stiff and hard to stretch out. I find that you drag the compressor around a bit if you have a 4wd. The gauge on the air hose isn't accurate and i find that i just use my own gauge instead. If you are looking for a cheap compressor that you are going to use on the occasional 4wd trip, than its probably going to do everything you want.

    12 V air compressor

    Simple and easy to use. Works really well. Only issue is the gauge could be better formatted...ie PSI measurement for normal items 20; 30;40 very close together. I bought another gauge which is easier to read for these pressures
