You will need special glue to attach them to the heel. Unfortunately, these do not come with tacks/nails either. There are holes in the heel plate for them though. Some sellers of the same product include tacks. If you want simple to use heel plates, there are self stick ones out there however; your heel can't be worn or uneven or they will not stick well.
