It is Chinese made. The wood body is very nicely finished and gives good resonance. The strings were very low end. I expected that and got some fluoro-carbon. Much better sounding. Stays tuned better than the real cheapos. The downsides are that the fret lines and string base are not exactly squared. The tightening holes are 1/16" too wide a little flopping occurs.
