Works well ... but be "light handed" with it till you get the depth of colour you want. Obviously, the lighter your hair colour, the greater the purple shade you will have. Pretty much the same as putting Magic Silver White diluted in water in your final rinse when washing your hair but easier to isolate areas with a spray.
