I have purchased this product before. Keeps food fresh. No flies or insects can get in. My two cats picked up very quickly how it all works. You can purchase all parts extra online and replace them easily. The only downside I find is that the food bowls starting to smell after a while and the rubber ring gets loose.

I brought 2 feeders as one cat needs to eat medicated food, while the other does not. The screen of one of the feeders rarely moves into the secured position. I am using the for the medicated cat. The other feeder does engage, but very slowing after the cat has left. However, the medicated cat using trial and error over 3 days and worked out how to push the cover backwards with his paw to open it. For me this product was an expensive failure.

We purchased as we have two cats and the younger (7 y.o) of the two prefers to demolish her dinner and the older (18 y.o) prefers to graze when it comes to eating. It was getting expensive and overwhelming to make sure the older cat was eating enough. With the new feeder, the younger is not getting over fed and the older is able to graze once again. It did take a few weeks for her to get used to the bowls movements and the sensor reading bar over her head. But now... She's happy again. No more screaming at all hours because her bowl is empty.

My older cat is on medication andta diet. My 1 year old cat is still growing. Maddi the 8 year old was stealing food from Spider Monkey's bowl. I had to ensure that Spider was getting enough to eat and also make sure she didn't accidentally eat Maddi's medication. The Surefeed is great for making sure that each cat gets the meal that is intended for them. I have caught Maddi sneaking around behind Spiders bowl and grabbing some extra food while Spider is eating. I've ordered two back covers that will hopefully fix the problem.

My cat is still a bit scared of the noise it makes when it opens and closes but she's getting used to it. The kitten has tried to break into it to steal her food but has had no luck. It's easy to use. Nice and solid and keeps the food safe from little food thiefs

This is an excellent product and I'm very happy with the two I purchased. The feeders are simple to operate, very easy to keep clean and do exactly what is claimed. Both cats learned within 12 hours, I didn't need to do a lot of training. The 17 year old Siamese figured it out after an hour and now acts like he's used it all his life. The 13 year old, who thinks she's a princess, kept bleating at me to feed her and open the lid but all her food is eaten each morning so she's obviously smart enough. She did take longer, about 18 hours from the introduction but no biggie. The only one who's really disappointed is the dog: no more stolen goodies.

Finally a solution to our problem! We have two cats, one was losing weight (Bindi) and one was gaining weight (Shintaro) because he would eat his food in one sitting then shovel the other cats food down while we were at work. Basically, Shintaro is 2 years younger than Bindi and already twice her size in weight🤔🤔 Very happy with this product, definitely worth the money spent. Shintaro took to the bowl within days and the training option was not needed on him (go figure) whilst Bindi did get freaked out at first and we had to leave the lid open for a week just so she would go near the bowl, anything new for her takes a long time to get used to. But after another week of using the training option she's eating out of the bowl and now Shintaro can't steal her food 😸😸 Would highly recommend to anyone who has more than one cat that tends to not stop eating. Whilst they are obviously more expensive than your average pet bowl, they're worth every penny.Read full review

This is such a brilliant product for cats and small dogs. It keeps flies out of the food. When you have more than one pet, you know which pet has eaten their food. More cleaner pet area. I absolutely love them. We have three different colours for three different cats. I would like to see the price come down, particularly the coloured extra dishes and mats.

This feeder works exactly as described. When you have two or more pets and they can't share the same diet something like this is really the only practical option. Our 3 cats (one intelligent, one stupid and one nervous!) all got used to their new bowls within a couple of days. Given food as an incentive they all learned fast. Value is subjective. Yes it's expensive but it is a clever and very effective product. There is one inherent design problem though: When one cat opens the flap and starts to feed, another can go around the back of the feeder and easily access the bowl from there. That's such an obvious drawback that it should have been fixed from the start, by fitting a full rear cover. Instead you can buy a rear cover as an extra but the cost ($45) seems like a rip-off - that should have been a standard inclusion. For the thrifty there are other options, thankfully. I bought some "Ezy Storage" 12 litre square plastic buckets from Bunnings for $4 each. With the handles removed and the spout-side cut out these fit neatly over the feeders, sitting on the floor. And with the feeder placed close to a wall they're secure against little paws but can be easily lifted off to access the buttons. Patent pending...Read full review
