This is a sturdy wireless mechanical keyboard - they key switches themselves feel like (but aren't exactly the same as) the old Cherry MX Brown - I actually prefer to use this keyboard for typing over my other, TKL Cherry Brown MX mech (from Majesco), and the weight means this thing just won't move around the desk. Bluetooth and it's own dongle means easy setup and switch between say the PC and a phone or iPad on the desk. Uses replaceable AA batteries - I still haven't depleted the set that came with the keyboard, and it's been well over a year. Downside -as others have stated - it's HUGE - it's a massive keyboard, and this is a problem if you have multiple papers and books open while typing - if the wrist rest was removeable it would be perfect, however, I usually put it away when not gaming and use my TKL Bluetooth for day-to-day use, it's just overwhelming for a workstation sized area. Only negative is that wrist rest cannot be removed so the keyboard takes up a lot of desk space. It’s also surprisingly heavy compared to my previous keyboard, this due to it having mechanical switches? If you’re like me and haven’t had a mechanical previously be aware that the keys are noisier than membrane type keyboards but I like the feel better. They feel good to type on and overall the keyboard is very comfortable.

I don’t use a lot of mechanical keyboard so I can’t really compare with other products but so far I’ve found this keyboard is really good to use in themes of keystrokes. I’m a pretty fast typist so I know how it feels when the keyboard gives toy the confidence what you’re typing is correct or not. I’ve used other non-mechanical keyboards in the past (including laptop keyboards) and there’s always times when occasionally the key stroke didn’t register. Laptop keyboards are more often than not works 99.9% of the time but less so with wireless keyboard (I have a Logitech K375s) and it misses my keystroke more often than laptop. But with G613 it hasn’t missed any yet so far. If I’m being very picky, my dislikes are: 1. A bit noisy 2.
