When my wife & I first got to see a TV special with these beautiful irish ladies..we were blown away! Their songs & music are sublime! All the ladies have soaring lilting voices that soar & move you to joy, tears & happiness as they move from song to song while there orchestra hits all the right notes too. We also bought their DVD of the same music which lets you see them. I would highly recommend both the DVD & the CD from these awesome ladies of the Celtic realm. It will both move you & make you rejoy in the beautiful music of Ireland.
I bought 'Celtic Woman' because my ancestors are from Scotland. I have also heard Celtic music on TV. After my research of the talents on the market, I decided to buy 'Celtic Woman' for my enjoyment. I have not been disappointed. I have the CD in my car so I can listen to it. I have bought other CDS of Celtic Music and have nothing to compare to. I love the quality and sound. Her sound is very relaxing and calming. 'Celtic Woman' is great!!!

I bought Celtic Woman cd because I love the songs they sing and the women have beautiful voices. Everytime they showed them on tv the songs ran through my head all night long. Now I listen to the cd on my way to work in the morning and after watching so many times on tv, I can picture them singing the songs. I am thinking about buying another one that has a few different songs then the one I have now.

I like it because it is Irish and I am Irish. All the songs remind me of my Heritage. I bought it because I love the Celtic Woman and their singing relaxes me. I had seen one of the singers on Good Morning America and was amazed with her voice. I found out that she later joined the Celtic Women and just had to have more of that wonderful singing voice. I was pleased with both CDs that I purchased by The Celtic Women and would buy again.
The members of this group have beautiful voices, and they use the strength of these voices and skillfully arrange the music to take the best advantage of the range of the performers. I inherited a rather large collection of Celtic music and I am reminded of Enya, the Chieftans, and Loreena McKennitt. Do NOT buy this if you don't like Celtic music. But if you do, I believe you'll enjoy this album, it is lyrical and enchanting. Enjoy.
If you like Celtic music you will love this CD. The director, once again, has great insight into the style of choosing the right voice for the song. "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" brought tears to my eyes. It was so beautifully done. The original five young ladies are once again in great form with an added member. The only downside is that all music that was aired on the program is not included in this CD.
This is contemporary Celtic/Irish music at its best! Upbeat and full of soul. I can listen to this CD over and over! Most of the tracks are stunning vocals, and the rest are instrumental. My friends who are not avid Celtic music listeners adore it as well. Useful for introducing Celtic music to those unfamiliar with it. Every track is uplifting in it's own way, these artists and producers are superb! Highly recommended
