After having used the original Canon 15mm f/2.8 fisheye lens for 3 years, this was the next logical move and it's about time Canon brought it out! So much more viewing angle, so much less artifacts and all the quality you can expect from an L-series lens. Naturally, it's easy to overuse a lens, particularly like this one but when used in moderation and for the right scene, you can really capture some great shots that don't simply capture it all but capture the magnitude of it all. I've never travelled without a fisheye lens since 2008 and it's not about to change now!
When I received this lens, I was absolutely ecstatic and overly keen to open up the package and start playing around with it ; it is a lens that I had been hoping to buy someday early last year. I was amazed at how it functions and operates ( although I am limited because I don't use a full-frame camera ) .. The auto-focus was brilliant and the fisheye effect is amazing and trippy. I would recommend this lens to everyone who wants to have something different from the standard zoom lenses that many people tend to buy together with their DSLR camera body.

simply says, this lens worth every single cent. Mind blowing taking photo experiment, endless creative. The lens given exceptional sharpness, even at widest apertures. Highl recommend to use on full frame cameras, as that is where benefit the best of this lens. The flare control on this lens is just breath taking, even point right at the sun. I have no negatives on this and i'm confidence to recommend to anyone who looks for fish eye lens.
