I remember putting unhealthy hours into this as a kid during school holidays. It's a nostalgic feeling re-learning the ganeplay (by fiddling around in sandbox mode!) The trickiest bit is getting used to the inprecise use of the D-pad, as analogue sticks don't work for this game. (I think it's one of those older releases that pre-dates analogue sticks, like Air Combat). Still, once I got used to laying track again, it was relatively easy to me. I'm amazed how my younger self 20 odd years ago seemingly aced this. Guess being a kid was my peak for creative business models. Today still, there aren't many games like Railroad Tycoon II available on console. It's nice to have it again. The condition is great, clean disc, barely any noticeable marks. The case is as described, a bit scratched and chipped on the edges, though otherwise excellent condition for it's age. Even the booklet is still almost like new. The asking price was surprisingly low considering the condition and age, though I admit I don't remember the original retail price from 2000ish. All on all, really good value. Read full review
