Easy to fit. Eeaasssy!!! Exactly matched the prior part which had broken. Criticisms, (1) surely doesn't justify the effective $100 price tag that the delivered product comes with. (2) The original part has an obvious flaw in it which leads to the door catch mechanism getting broken even in normal use. The catch handle needed to be strengthened but the replacement part doesn't feature such an upgrade. No upgraded part appears to be offered as an alternative either. My conclusion; Was worth the effort to install the replacement part, the dishwasher itself was otherwise working perfectly. I have little confidence that the new part won't break again even with extra care. Someone just has to come along and release the catch with light pressure and the plastic fitting will snap in exactly the same spot. The irony here, We have two of these dishwashers, one in our house, the other in our holiday unit. The second one, a white one, now has a broken catch the same as the one I just replaced on the silver dishwasher. Maybe a little help from the manufacturer would be good.Read full review

the original problem was a flimsy handle design so i am guessing, the problem will happen again? it would make sense to design a much stronger handle , or at least brace it some way, and the price tag was over the top.

Snapped our lip pull handle straight off on the 8 year old one and thought it would be time to buy a new dishwasher. But found this front on eBay and it was a perfect match. Easily changed over with a screw driver and a few plugs ins in 5 mins.
