This small wingle unit is plug n play on a USB 2 for windows 10, with good speed on Vodafone. It comes as a wifi unit too, so you do not have to set up a modem on the computer for other users in the family. I used to carry a pocket wifi unit to do the same. It covers all the important Oz 3g and 4G/+ bands. I am hoping they are the same for Eu (CE badged so can use it there, will not be able to feed back on this site, check on Whirlpool forums after May 18) Setup is easy and reasonably secure wifi WPA PSK2 (via wifi or usb if a windows box, change admin password immediately and wifi password thereafter, not a great idea to turn wifi off as you can lose the ability to administer the wingle) No battery of course, you rely on the computer (or plug it in to usb charger) It might be good to have a USB3 (instead of the 2) connector as it has the facility to house a micro sd(hc) card to 32 Gb. In practice seemed pretty quick via the usb on my win10 home usb 3.1C with adapter i7 machine. This was bought as a backup should the permanent NBN connection fail (which it hasn't yet in four years). It integrates seamlessly with my Draytek Vigor 2120 router. And being small and portable, it came in very handy during my extended hospital stays, as it worked out much cheaper (a plug for Aldi) than using the hospital provided Wifi. The setup instructions are thorough, have to be followed very carefully though.
