Replacement for genuine Fischer and Paykel filter.
I bought these filters to replace my Fischer and Paykel filters which cost three times the price at my local retail outlet. The Shield filters fitted the original filter housing correctly and the water quality is the same as the Fischer and Paykel filter which is much better than the over chlorinated water we have on tap. I cannot say if the filters last as long as the original but it only has to last 2 months and it will be ok as the original are supposed to be replaced every 6 months. At this stage I will buy the same filters again.

For the future put filter filtering capacity as priority
None of above applies to the filter as filter has the same shape and the same method of fitting. And is for single use as per instruction for certain water amount flow or time period. This filter is of average standard as my previous filter can handle 28 Kl of water and that one only 18 Kl. My rating is "average" as previous filter price was exactly the same. I would consider buying another brand if filter capacity was listed.

decent filters at a fraction of the price
I found these after the manufacturer of my fridge made replacement filters impossible to find on their site. These TWO are less than half the price of ONE branded filter and are exactly the same apart from the label. Highly recommended!!!
