The PS5 was way larger than I expected. Much larger than it's counterpart the XBOX Series X - height and width wise. The shape is interesting and the sides can slide off so that you can change them or even paint them I suppose. Sony has a much harder warranty process that only applies to the original purchaser, whereas Microsoft stands behind a consoles warranty no matter who originally purchased it. Playstation has far fewer exclusive games than I remember. I don't think you need both brand of gaming consoles anymore as games are similar/same on both systems. Pick one and run with it! Being Sony you expect good graphics. Though at the price of consoles these day it must be hard when you have several children to buy for. It's nearly to the point where you are pushed to get a PC so you can use it for other things, thus adding more value to the item.Read full review

The product turned up really fast and now I am getting more use out of it than ever before. For me The ps3 has always been better by comparison to the Xbox. On paper the ps3 could be beaten by an iPad. But the truth behind the up scaling for movies and powerful gaming makes the ps3 superior to other game and media stations. With the larger hard drive to store downloadable game makes a huge difference. Gone are the days of deleting finished games to put on a new one. All in ps3 works great for me.

hey, for anyone thinking of buy a ps3 slim my experience should guide you well. first off it is really quite and sony replaced the touch sensitive power and eject buttons with push buttons, these are much better as they will always work compared to the touch sensitive version of the phat console, it seems to slowly lose its ability to read you pleasing down, some times really having to push down hard. also the system operates faster than my previous phat console(which by the way lasted for 7 years, not bad). I would recommend this console for those seeking great games with high quality visuals and decent controls while playing. some games to play on the ps3 are resident evil 5 or 6( survival horror), rage(amazing game), far cry 3(lasts a long time), the last of us(very solid game play), tomb raider(the remake 2013), hitman absolution(for serious ADULTS only), dead island riptide( a decent zombie survival horror), metal gear rising(excellent visuals and amazing storyline with solid gameplay and controls), bayonetta(great game play), metal gear solid 4(for those looking for a really great story line and long game), ninja gaiden 2/3(very hard ninja hack and slash game done quite well) and sniper ghost warrior 2( good realistic sniper system, as good as it gets). these are only some of the amazing titles on the ps3 plus games are cheap to buy now for it.Read full review
