Very happy with the Vornado - especially for night time when sleeping. It is interesting that the white fan has a black cord and the 3 speed selection knob starts off with 3, then 2 then 1 (slowest setting). I usually set fan on 1 speed selection which means I have to go from 3 to 1. But that is fine. Just a design issue I guess.

Absolutely fantastic product. It's quiet, it doesn't vibrate, it's solidly built and it puts out a fair amount of air. These cost an order of magnitude more than normal fans, but they're worth every penny. My partner used to get woken up by errant rattles and vibrations, but this is no longer an issue.
