Tried quite a few usb wifi adapters over the years. This is the best by miles. Best reception and speeds, no drop outs and easy set up. Highly recommend it even if you already have wired setup and want a back up/ travelling device. Couldn't be better.

I didn't buy this for the range but to get a steady, fast & reliable connection which I was previously lacking (Mind you the signal strength out in the workshop indicates it has quite a good range too). I installed the driver, plugged it in & that was it, - fast smooth connection to both 2.4 & 5mhz that doesn't drop out & it's much faster than my previous adapter. I can now stream video while downloading documents & software at good speeds with no problems at all. I'm very happy with it.
