As a new welder this helmet allowed me to be able to produce acceptable welds. Before this, the handshield I had created a prod and pray result. To have a mig welder to be able to adjust the shade I believe is a must. This helmet does this perfectly. I would have given it a 10 out of 10 but sloppy fitting of the headband in the factory confused me for a time, and I think the headband could be better so I will drop a point
