The echo cancellation in particular is surprisingly elective and voice clarity (in and out) is excellent. It connects via Bluetooth to your phone or tablet as well as via a wired or wireless USB connection (dongle included) to your PC. Voice clarity also makes this an excellent speaker to play back podcasts. You can also play music on it as well, however low frequencies are underdone so this experience is more OK than great.
