FESS(R) Nasal and Sinus Wash Extra Strength consists of 6 pre-mixed dry powder sachets. When mixed with warm water, each 6.3 g sachet will produce 200mL of alkaline buffered, mild hypertonic saline wash. This deep cleansing, non-medicated hypertonic saline wash helps relieve nasal congestion and sinusitis. A hypertonic solution is 'saltier' than regular saline to gently draw liquid out of the sinuses and help break down this mucus. The higher salt concentration also helps with severe swelling and mucus build up.
