EXTREME is for mountain bikes: mountain bike needs something that can take lots of dust, and/or muddy slop being kicked up on the chain from the front wheel. ABSOLUTE DRY is for the road bikes: Road bikes generally tend to pick up more dirt and dust from static discharge, so a thicker, dryer membrane is needed. GOLD is for both mountain and road bikes. A universal dry lube suitable dry dust and protection from slightly wet conditions. HOLY COW is a very settled wet lube that is as clean or cleaner than most dry lubes. Dirt and grit can be quickly wiped from the chain unlike a dry line. Features This is a super clean chain lube, in fact, this lube is not a self-cleaning lube, it simply picks up little or no dirt. Absolute Dry is ideal for clean freak roadies. Recommen.
