The only one of the Divergent movies that stays true to the depth of concept and strength of characters as written in the books. Strong as a movie in its own right. (The other movies in the series are by contrast feel shallow contrived, the characters weak and fickle versions of their literary truths. All of the books in the series, however, are fantastic). I would definitely recommend 'Divergent' the movie as a great watch, regardless of its poor quality sequels.
