Great sound for what is a set basically designed for a PC. The small, but powerful speakers (& decent subwoofer) have replaced my very expensive, large & heavy Pioneer home theatre system, which cost thousands of $$$$.

We have installed this kit in a 7x5m large room with floating floors. The surround sound is awesome. We use 6 channel input from PC, and optical from TV. Both sounds great as surround sound for movies etc. When playing music the bass is a little high, where as the default settings are great for action movies. Highly recommended as a budget system for great 5.1 at home. A must have though is a set up satelite stands. We bought two sets, one for front and one for rear.

Great PC speakers. Like REALLY GOOD. Bit of a nuisance that it auto-powers off after no sound for a while and doesn't auto power on when there is, so you need the controller to be close by. No way to change this behaviour, it seems. If I had known that I would have bought something else. You now do! My old PC 5.1 was on 24/7 and lasted 16 years, dunno why a modern one has to do this; to make sure it outlasts the warranty I guess.
