Erich V. Lassak: Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, on 11 April 1934; died in Sydney, Australia, 3 Aug 2015. After working for several years in the chemical industry he joined in 1964 the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences in Sydney.

The content of this book is ok, but to identify plants they give a description, which quite honestly leaves too much room for error. There are only about a dozen photos of plants and lots of descriptive text.
