Great starter once you have the alphabet down well. I went cross-eyed at first look-through, and it is definitely baptism-by-fire when you start learning. But once you get the hang of Hangul and using the disc at the right time, it'll be a fun book to work with. I definitely encourage the use of supplementary online learning materials that offer more interactive listening and feedback if you are teaching yourself. Overall excellent textbook and workbook!
