I've had my F&P machine for about 5 years. It did not come with a lint filter. It has been fine up until recently, when I noticed that all dark coloured clothing was getting covered in lint. I read online that you could purchase an after market lint filter for these machines. I am so happy at how well this works, and the amount of lint it captures! I would recommend this for anyone looking to purchase a lint filter for your F&P machine. It seems ridiculous that they don't include this with the machine when originally purchased.

This small device, consisting of a filter bag, attached to a cylinder and handle, fits inside the centre column of the washing machine, and appears to catch lint very effectively, judging by the amount which appears after washing. You empty it after each wash, and replace it, which is a very simple procedure. It appears to be well made, and should last for a long time.
