I did a test with Titebond vs Shelleys Aquadhere glueing some pinewood panels together. I followed the same procedure of clamping times and allowed 24 hours for them both to dry. Titebond was superior in the bond strenght. When prying the panels apart Titebond sheared the timber apart with no shearing of the glue. Aquadhere on the other hand sheared 60% of the timber with the other 40% being a break of the glue
