The helmet does the job for occasional DIY work but what you pay is what you get. Most importantly, the auto darkening feature works. The helmet is very lightweight but also a bit flimsy. The control switch for the auto darkening feature is poorly marked and rotates 360 degrees instead of from Off to maximum, which is annoying to adjust when wearing the helmet. The paint peels already off when removing it from the box which only affects aesthetics. The head harness is size adjustable but lacks proper raster positions on the hinge to hold the mask up between welding operatons. The operating instructions are useless, consisting of a collection of English words which make very little sense. I can recommend the helmet for users who only weld small jobs a few times each year. People who intend to weld more frequently should get something better.Read full review
