Not black and white
The cheapest available and maybe the widest single one, but "yes" or "no" for recommending, value and quality is not that simple. Only time will tell regarding value or quality and recommending is subjective, I bought it on the price and width of coverage. The clear panel is in 3 pieces with joiners, it will have to be seen if they leak or not and it really needs 2 people to join them without difficulty, I did it on my own with a lot of swearing. The instructions are just pictures which does not show that the joiners have about a 15mm gap at each end, but when attempting to put in the end brackets you realize what has to be done. Also the instructions do not show you the minimum height that it has to be installed above an outward opening door for clearance, which is about 400mm from the top of the door jamb to the top mounting hole. There are 4 Stainless screws provided that hold it together and 4 of 10mm x 100mm concrete anchors which are zinc coated, the heads will need to be painted to stop rust showing after time. I have assembled it and will install the next few days when it is not raining.Read full review

Quality is OK I guess
Putting the joiner on the first panel was a pain so I added some soap water on the panels and it just slides in without much issue. Also used silicone to seal the 4 sides as there are gaps. You should put silicone in the rail on the brackets before putting the panel in. I realized that a bit too late... Not sure if it will leak from the joiners as I didn't bother silicone the gap. In time if it leaks I think I will just replace it will a one piece sheet and paint the bracket to some other colour to match the door frame.

It was solidly made and was not too difficult to assemble. The instructions were rather basic. Best to completely assemble the unit before marking and drilling, etc. Does the job intended - keeps the rain off the door and lets the light through. Very happy with the performance.
