Good little light maybe for baby room but not enough light to use in hallway. Placed mine in kitchen do admit there is a wall from kitchen to hallway but found plugging into kitchen the light did not reflect enough to light up passage way. Marked it good value because it could come in handy in some situations but not as a light for passage way. Marked it good quality (seems a bit fragile) but a nice little unit for perhaps a baby room or child night light.
