I was using the hand crank mover to move my van so much work for little distance. The motorized jockey wheel made it very easy to move my van and made in Aussie makes it so much value for your money

I have an off-road camper-trailer with a high frame for better gound clearance in the rough. This means that, unlike the promotional images, the T-Rex motorised jockey wheel has to be clamped above the upper ridge on its upright and then extended further with the crank handle. My driveway is nearly level (0.1 degree slope) and I bought the T-Rex to manoeuvre my camper trailer sideways on the wide driveway. This requires the T-Rex to be driven hard left and right as well as forwards and backwards. The clamp latch plates are not sufficiently rigid when the motorised jockey wheel is driven when its upright is extended as far as required for an off-road camper-trailer. The flexing of the clamp risks it suffering metal fatigue when used like this. Electrically and mechanically the T-Rex motorised wheel seems quite strong but will need additional bracing when used on high-clearance off-road trailers and caravans. To me, the T-Rex motorised jockey wheel offers value for money but I will be adding extra bracing to the upright's clamp mechanism (latch-plates).Read full review

Our placement of our caravan at home required Master level Tetris skills to get it through the garage, between pergola posts and into place on the hardstand. After trying the grunt and push method a few times I looked for an easier option and came across the powered jockey wheel and instantly my life became 100% easier. I read some negative reviews about it but if a little common sense prevails and you're not trying to tow a 3 ton caravan up an incline in a muddy field then it cannot fail but to do exactly what it says on the box. Now, extracting and replacing the 'van where it lives is no longer a struggle and, with the addition of go-jacks the whole operation now takes 20 mins and not an hour. I would definitely recommend the T-rex jockey wheel but make sure you know it's limitations before you buy as unrealistic expectations are not a fault of the product. Read full review

Bought this Motorized Dolly wheel June 2021 and have used it to push & pull 1 tonne 2 wheel loaded trailer on concrete from parked to ute hitch and works well. Had to add more than ball balance weight of the trailer of about 20kg up to 80kg to get enough grip for the solid tyre. An air filled tyre would give more area grip on concrete but would not carry the down load so I see solid rubber is the only solution. My brother inlaw has borrowed the unit to move his 4m aluminum boat and will buy one shortly. So far very happy. I have kept it in the shed out of any rain or dust or hot sun. My trailer is braked tipping trailer with 1m high crate rated 1 tonne payload tare about 500kg

I bought this and was very dubious but hopeful. My land is reasonably flat but the driveway is loose bitumen. The caravan is a 2500kg dual axel. I wired the device to the caravan Batterys with an Anderson plug. When using the motor sounds like it’s straining under load but did the job. If you had a concrete level surface it would work great but either way as long as it keeps going I am happy. The alternative was four people grunting and groaning pushing it. Now I can do it myself. Edit: I have now used it several times. It’s still going. Motor still sounds like it’s struggling but still working . Last time using it it started loosing traction and spun occasionally on the bitumen surface. I backed off and steered it slightly different and no problem, gripped again. Pretty amazing really. I parked the caravan totally in my own so am happy with that.Read full review

I bought this to move a 1.7tonne boat and trailer up my driveway thats about 5° incline and it does it really well but due to most of the weight being on the axle of the trailer I sometimes need to stand on the tow cup to maintain traction on the movers wheel. Apart from that I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to move heavy trailers. It’s not rated for dual axles.

I have a 1500 kg van which I need to store in a shed front in first. This mororised jockey wheel exceeded all expectations. It was easy to set up and very easy to use. It moved the van round with ease. Love it... made my life much easier.

It does not have a free wheel option. Which is a real pain. Means you have to hook up and drive it’s slowly every time you want to even slightly move the trailer.... Secondly. I have nice concrete driveway, and it’s just skidding on a fairly small incline. So I can’t get it to where it needs to go. Even when I stand on the tow ball for added traction. It just skids! If you don’t ever need to free wheel. And you don’t have any incline at all. Go for gold. But otherwise don’t waste your money. It’s literally only good on surfaces you can otherwise push your trailer by hand - but if you couldn’t be bothered pushing - this is your product.

After learning a few tricks in using the product it is now indispensable. My caravan is only 1900 kg single axle so it may struggle with a heavier dual axle van.
