Good little tank
Light and filter both made by sunsun, the light is an ads400 which is more than adequate, even if you went co2 route. The filter is a hbl-301 which is okay if you get rid of the supplied media and add your own however it has a rattle that I can't seem to eliminate. Tank is great, overall very happy with the purchase

Tank is good, filter instructions leave a little to be desired, they are not clear and do not show photos of the model that was included. We had to google to find pictures that would be helpful. Also you cannot get replacement inserts for the filter box, so I have had to buy filter wool and cut to size.

Well priced for a kit
Tank is well made silicone is clean and sharp. The base (stand) and corners are removable for individuals that wish to have just a clean starfire tank. The Sunsun filter is ok and has a surface skimmer rated at 400L/H. The light (Sunsun) is a bright and crisp white light that will grow plants well with or without co2 injection. With a Kelvin of 6500 to 7500 K it will show off the inhabitants and colours naturally.The tank is only 25cm depth and I thought that the light would take up too much room on top, there is plenty of room to get hands in for maintenance. CONS the filter cartridges have been hard to source so for individuals that are looking at using the filter look into the marina slim power filter cartridges they may just fit. NO glass lid

Great deal for the tank and light alone - filter is decent too.
I am thrilled with this tank, really great dimensions, I am a big fan of HOB filters and the light is awesome, very sleek and modern looking! It also arrived within 2 days - a day earlier than was estimated which was exciting as I am very impatient! Only issue I had was I think the instructions for the filter I got were actually for a different filter.. the smaller tubing parts of the filter that came in a separate bag don't seem to fit together properly, the filter is running and doing its job but I have 3 extra cylindrical pieces I don't know what to do with..
