They Work
In the main they work exactly as designed, a clean cut with both foil & cling film (glad wrap or whatever its called). The clean cut defiantly makes it easier when wrapping trays & dishes etc. being able to cut the film off at just the right length during wrapping. I have found that one particular brand that I use was not a good fit between the adjustable end pieces but they still worked. All in all we are happy with the units & would recommend them as a useful addition to any kitchen.

Hit & miss Avanti Wrapmaster
This product worked very well on foil and baking paper but seems problematic for cling wrap. It doesn't seem to cut cleanly although I am prepared to see what happens with a different brand of cling-wrap product when I have used up the current roll. It is a fair price when it works (for foil and baking paper) but I can't recommend for cling wrap given my experience.

Only just satisfactory
Works adequately in cutting the piece of wrap (I'm using plastic wrap), and easy to insert a new roll. But it fails miserably for the next piece. After cutting, the wrap falls (no mechanism catches it) so you have to open the device and "find" the start again. Hard to imagine how they created a product that only half works. Quality is good with a solid feel, but the functionality is a let down.

Unlike the more expensive similar products that have spring loaded roll holders this one does not which results in the roll being dislodged quite easily and hence getting an effective measure and cut of wrap more difficult. This was overcome by applying a layer of sticky tape over the roll holder which resulted in a tighter fit of the holder.as it slid into the slot. Overall found this product a great value for money.
