Our kid's gaming room is on the second floor at the other end of the house from our wifi modem and got no signal. I had thought of getting a wifi extender but didn't like the idea of another ugly thing in the middle of our house. I had seen these power line adapters advertised before, but was always sceptical. I ordered these from eBay, plugged one in next to the modem and the other next to the xbox in the games room, hooked up the ethernet cables, and was absolutely blown away. We get around 30Mbs on our NBN at the modem and we get the exact same full speed on the xbox through these power line adapters. I didn't think it would work, but I'm the biggest fan now! We have actually now hooked up a wifi router to this power line adapter in the games room and now we have fast wifi coverage in that end of the house too!Read full review

I had bought a couple of very similar "Foxtel" ethernet powerline adapters that I could get to work quite well on my television. Because I needed to set up my work computer in a different room on a different electrical circuit I decided to buy these TP-Link units to achieve that aim however had nothing but issues. The only way to get them to "see" each other was to plug them together so they would connect with each other but when I separated them into different rooms (making sure they were on the same electrical circuit - which the Foxtel ones worked) I kept losing connection. I'm very tech savvy and had to give up on these. Maybe there was a fault with mine? I ended up biting the bullet and paying a lot more, I bought a high end wi-fi router and installing a wi-fi card in my computer with a really good set of mountable aerials which works brilliantly. Can get 90 Mbits/sec now I'm on the NBN.Read full review

Title pretty much sums it up. Minimal size, so you don't have a tight squeeze to get the ethernet cable in, although width wise depends what you want to plug in next to it. But better than every other one of this type of device I've seen. Easy setup, push a couple of buttons. Solid connection and no buffering so far.

An excellent product easy to use. Worked first time with my other Powerline Adapter Kit.

Looks nice with small footprint when mounted on its side. Great coverage and solid performance (1 storey house and extender is placed on one end of the house). Good amount of features and I found the extender easy to setup (easy to set and forget). Allows broadcasting of separate 2.4 and 5ghz bands. Could do with another usb port in my opinion.
